Barley Island’s handcrafted ales and lagers produced on-premise are unique in comparison to other pubs. Our beers have only the finest malts and hops shipped from around the world. We push the envelope on the beer style guidelines. If the recipe calls for more ingredients in order to accentuate the style, we do it.
Being independently owned and operated has its advantages. We can quickly implement new food trends or even beer flavors to suite our local clientele. Our waitstaff takes pride in making every customer feel served and not processed like at some multi-chain operators. So sit back, relax, and let us pour you a meal !

Awesome atmosphere and friendly regulars. I recently moved into the area and they are by far my favorite pub to go to. And the handcrafted brews are amazing in flavor and originality!

I've been frequenting Barley Island for several years and, after trying many other brew pubs around the country, I am convinced the brews at Barley Island are by far the best you'll find.

Barley Island is the best brewpub in Indiana by far. They have a great selection of beer, live music, and food! Not only that but who doesn't love $1.50 pints of microbrewed beer on Mondays and Tuesdays? The people at Barley Island make you feel welcome but beware, you may get hooked!
