When Blanca Castellanos arrived in the United States 34 years ago from the small Central American country of Guatemala, she had no idea that she would one day be a business owner. Blanca greets each customer that walks through the doors of BBI with a warm welcome and a smile.Because of the family atmosphere that is apparent to patrons in their first visit to BBI and Blanca's friendly demeanor. BBI serves fresh, quality food. The menu has a good variety and their chicken salad and cookies are a must try!

BBI has become part of my daily life over the years, I eat there at least twice a week. As soon as you walk in the door, you are treated like family. They know you by name and the service is excellent. They have THE BEST CHICKEN SALAD, period! The daily monthly specials are a great value. They are also great for catering. I can honestly say that I have never had anything there that I didn't like. Everything tastes homemade and fresh. The Watermelon Lemonade is so great. The cookies and other desserts are unlike any other. This is definitely one of Indy's best kept secrets!!! - Latifa H.

The food always tastes fresh and has the homemade taste. Great variety of soups, sandwiches and daily specials. The owners who
are always there and working hard really care about their customers and it shows.

The owner and all of her employees are so kind and courteous. They know you by name. As an added bonus they have incredible unique food. The specials are always a good choice and the cookies are to die for. There is not one thing I have ever had there that I wouldn't order again. Their food is unique and fresh unlike anything else in Indy. It is a treasure for Indy and should be #1 on the A list!

These ladies know your name and always have a smile, great food, wonderful monthly specials at a price that doesn't break the budget. The cookies are big plus too - right out front, no shame in their temptation!

You can't beat the daily $5 specials...awesome food and huge portions! The staff knows everyone on a first name basis and is very friendly! Definitely the best sandwich shop in town!!

I work around the corner from BBI, and I have not eaten anything there that is not wonderful. The soups, salads, and sandwiches are to die for, and the personnel are extremely friendly.
