Bella Artistic Hair Design, located just south of the Greenwood Park Mall, is an established hair salon that originally opened its doors in 2003. Bella changed hands for the first time in 2005, in which the salon begun its change from a beauty store to a hair salon and spa. In March of 2008, Scott and Annie Anderson bought Bella, and have again, refocused the direction to a trendy salon specializing in color, cutting and texturing hair.
Annie Anderson was previously a cosmetology instructor at a private cosmetology school on the west side of Indianapolis. She soon realized that her passion was not only educating students, but also practicing the art of hair herself. Annie specializes in color and color corrections, and has personally trained dozens of stylists in the Indianapolis area. Scott is a fireman for Indianapolis, and when at the salon, provides assistance in upkeep and day to day tasks.
Together, the Andersons have used Bella’s roots, and combined it with their vision, for a salon where beautiful and original hair design is every stylist’s passion.
