Chateau Thomas produces all its wines from Vinifera (old world) grapes harvested from the finest vineyards in California, Oregon, and Washington State and continues to strive to produce the fine wines. These grapes are crushed on the west coast, chilled to 34°, and then shipped to our winery in 1-ton bins by refrigerated trucks to ensure freshness. The wines of Chateau Thomas are available in over 200 retail locations in Indiana including wine shops, grocery outlets, and some of the finest restaurants including 31 Applebee's locations throughout the state.Chateau Thomas Wines were the only wines served to 130 attendees of a Grand Banquet for the Confrerie des Compagnons Gouste Vin de Normandy held in a 300-year old Chateau in Rouen, France.

My husband and I had our wedding here last year and it was WONDERFUL. I recommend this winery to anyone, new to wine or a wine connoisseur.

We have enjoyed Chateau Thomas for the great wine and atmoshphere but when they came out with the sugar free wine I became a real fan. It may be too sweet for some, but for me it's a great after dinner/desert wine! Thanks, Doc!

They definitely have wine I enjoyed, but there are much more impressive wineries that actually use grapes grown right here in Indiana. Go to Oliver or Mallow Run if you want locally grown. Both experiences I've had at Chateau Thomas' tasting counter were less than stellar. I had to flag down someone to help us both times, felt like I was being ignored, and they weren't really knowledgeable about the wine, each person just knew what they liked and couldn't offer advice on other wines. I'll only go back if it's to complete my journey on the Wine Trail.
