Crackers has been THE place for live comedy in Indy since 1980. We've had some big names grace our stage over the years, including Ellen DeGeneres, Jay Leno and Dennis Miller. Numerous comics, even after reaching stardom, have returned to Crackers time after time including: Brad Garett, Harland Williams, Larry the Cable Guy, Chris Rock, Tommy Chong (Cheech & Chong), Christopher Titus (Titus), Ray Romano (Everyone Loves Raymond), and Kevin Pollak (Grumpy Old Men), just to name a few.
Despite the prevalence and variety of stand-up comedy on cable television, our customers know nothing beats seeing a live comedy show among a charged atmosphere. Crackers is by far the best place for comedy in Indianapolis. Excellent prices for food and for tickets. I take all my out of town friends there and for a good price, we can sit right at the stage!!
I can't go back to Crackers after having gone to Morty's Comedy Club. The comedians there, while I may not always know who they are all the time are ALWAYS GREAT! (Even the first two guys are hilarious) Crackers has brought in some big names, but the shows are hardly ever as good as I expected, and the openers are just awful.
