Hendricks Civic Theatre (HCT) has been in existence for over 30 years! It began in the late seventies as Hendricks County Community Theatre, and then in 1980, incorporated as Hendricks Civic Theatre. We have been putting on plays and musicals every year since then at various venues in Hendricks County. HCT has given many people their first theater experience!
In 1998, the Maplewood Christian Church was gifted to Hendricks Civic Theatre. We have recently completed renovations to make this church our HOME. We have fondly named it the Longstreet Playhouse after the Long family, who were an integral part of this church and community.
