Real sense of family. The instructors actually care and won't hesitate to work one on one with a student if they need assistance. James and Debi Theros are both just great people!

absolute best investment for you family. the master is still passionate about what he does, after 30+ years in the business. a little more expensive than most others but definitely worth every penny.
besides, cheaper tuition usually attracts a "different" crowd. i want MY kids to associate with people who think like winners.

Level 10 has been and incredible experience for both me and my son. We have grown together and the lessons learned have advanced us in both my work and his school. Having him develop friendships with other respectful kids his age and the lessons learned will be priceless when he gets into his teens and beyond.

Level 10 not only first class martial arts training, with character, integrity, honesty, and self motivation are put at the same level as martial arts training.

Absolutely amazing. Level 10 is the most professional martial arts school. Master Theros has so much experience in the martial arts, and he shares his findings with us. How many other schools have a LEADERSHIP program for people who want to get out there and help other students? Master Theros is very professional and so is his wife Mrs. Theros!

This is a great group the instructors are very stern but yet passionate when it comes to teaching & instructing their classes. What I like the most is how they allow their senior students to mentor and teach the classes.

I am voting for Brad Cantrell because I know for a fact how much this marital arts has meant to him. I don't see anywhere to pick his name out or see the testimonials... ???? Where is there a chance to read them? I know that the training that TaeKwonDo provides is superb in that it combines outstanding training in ethics and discipline as well as the physical side of martial arts.

When we joined Level 10 martial Arts, I was looking for an activity that would help my then 5 year old daughter learn to focus. Boy was I surprised when I ended up on the mat with her. The last year and a half we have learned some of the most important lessons of our lives, and I found that I had just as much to learn as my daughter. Master and Mrs. Theros have a way of teaching moral lessons while maintaining the exciting class atmosphere. They use the physical component of Tae Kwon Do to teach lessons on self-discipline, determination, patience, persistence, focus, and other important life skills. My now 7 year old daughter is getting straight A's in school, has learned to sit still in class, knows how to admit when she doesn't know things, and how to be polite and respecful even to me. The Theros' have been the biggest supporters for proper behavior. When she is doing well they re-enforce the behaviors but when there is a problem I have an authority to turn to that what they say will not simply go in one ear and out the other. Rose has begun to learn how to focus on the task at hand. She has also learned to set goals and to plan the steps to achieve those goals. These are skills that she will need for the rest of her life. Both of us have learned to stick with a task even when it is hard. I have struggled with my weight for most of my adult life. I have tried all kinds of diets with little success. So far this year I have lost 40 pounds and I honestly believe that it was due to the lessons in determination and persistence. This is the first physical activity I have ever been able to do. I was severely asthmatic and have always been restricted in what I was able to do. Since starting at LTMA I have been able to decrease the amount of medicine that I have to take everyday and have been able to finally complete a whole class without needing my inhaler. This is a real achievement for me. Level 10 Martial Arts prepares people to succeed in the world, in every aspect of their lives. As Master Theros says "what you do in one part carries over into every other part". I am so glad that Rose and I found Level 10 Martial Arts when we did. I am glad that Rose is learning the lessons they teach at this point in her life and wish there had been someone to teach me these things when I was her age.

When I first stepped on the mat at Level 10 Martial Arts as a student, I had no idea how my life was about to change. At the age of 38, I was nearly 70 pounds heavier than I wanted to be…and so physically challenged I was not sure I could make it through the warm-ups, let alone the rest of class! But for the better part of a year, I had sat on the sidelines watching. First I watched my oldest son in class. A few months later my youngest began training, followed immediately by my husband. When Dad joined our sons on the mat, our sons’ happiness was clearly visible and training together managed to strengthen an already strong father-sons bond. My family very much wanted me to join them. But still I held back, allowing my fear of embarrassment and failure to control me. My fear kept me static, but my interest continued to grow, because Tae Kwon Do looked like so much fun! Continued encouragement from my family, the instructors, and other students finally led me to agree. My husband and I had wanted our children to join martial arts to increase their confidence and help them learn self-control. We had very specific ideas about what we wanted in a martial arts school and were thrilled with what we found at Level 10 because students learn not only how to defend themselves, but more importantly they learn principles that help them avoid situations that would necessitate using what they have learned. Every lesson stresses the principles of focus, self-discipline, confidence, respect and persistence. These principles are demonstrated by the instructors, taught through the martial arts skills and discussed repeatedly in class. The classes are structured to teach martial arts skills while also teaching you how to live your life as a confident, respectful leader. Ironically, before I started my training, it did not occur to me that those principles could benefit me. It was my desire to improve myself physically that led me to the mat. But what keeps me there today is how Level 10 has changed me mentally and emotionally. Yes, I have lost much of the weight, and my physical skills continue to improve. But more significant is that I have changed from the frightened person with a lifelong fear of embarrassing herself, into a much more confident woman who understands that I am going to make mistakes and I am likely to embarrass myself, but that it does not matter. Part of my growth has been realizing that each mistake takes me one step closer to being the kind of person I have always dreamed of being! Along the way I find myself in class with people who encourage and are willing to give a hand to anyone who is struggling. Nowhere else in life have I experienced the true essence of “team spirit” like I do in this sport that is supposedly geared to the individual. Discipline and hard work are expected, but success, at whatever level, is celebrated. At this point in my training I am halfway to my first black belt and am already forever changed. I am learning to step out of my comfort zone, and meet challenges. I am learning leadership skills that are invaluable in my life “off the mat”. That is the core of training at Level 10—learning principles that make you a better person when you walk out of the door at the end of each lesson. At the beginning of my training, I could not imagine myself earning a black belt. However, I have evolved. I am no longer the woman I was, physically or mentally. As I look down the road, I believe I will earn my black belt. It is exhilarating to know that along the way I will continue to grow and evolve in positive ways that will enable me to set and accomplish goals, both on and off the mat. I know the woman who earns that black belt will not be the one who stepped on the mat the first day, or even the woman I am today, and I look forward to becoming her!

I am 8 years old. I love Tae Kwon Do. It is the best thing that ever happened to me. I have done Tae Kwon Do for 4 years. I would not have reached my dark blue belt without Master Theros. He is the best. I want to do Tae Kwon Do for the rest of my life.

Level 10 Martial Arts enforces repect, self discipline, and loyalty. My husband and I feel that the values taught to our five year old in class, go hand-in-hand with what we teach and enforce at home. We have witnessed our child develop self-confidence, physical skill, and most importantly respect for others. His pre-school teacher stated, "he is focused, an excellent listener, and exhibits strong leadership skills in the class room...a blessing to have in class." It is nice to know there is a team at Level 10 working with us to bringing out the best in in our child. This is an investment that has and will continue to improve and prepare my child for the future.
