Pastries in the case at Rene's Bakery
Strawberry Cake, one of the delicious items of Rene's Bakery.
A. Rene Trevino, owner & chef, of Rene's Bakery busy with his work in one of the rush hours at Bakery.
Rene's has a wide variety of Chocolate Cakes suitable for wedding or birthday functions
After working at various restaurants and country clubs in the city, A. Rene Trevino got tired of working for other people making only certain types of desserts. He wanted to provide stellar European-style breads and pastries at a price and in a way that everyone could enjoy. With a deep breath, A. Rene Trevino opened Rene’s Bakery, Inc on March 12, 2004. With a small staff (of ONE!), the bakery started with a handful of products to sell. Over time, Rene has added staff and product. Now, in its second year, Rene’s Bakery, Inc boasts eight full- and part-time employees with a rather large sampling of breads / pastries, given the size of the bakery. Future hopes for Rene’s Bakery, Inc include expanding the bakery to offer seating and an even greater variety of breads and pastries – maybe even quiche, sandwiches and soups, too!

A glazed doughnut is tasty, but for a real treat, try Rene's! They offer a variety of pastries, cookies, and dessert sweets. The croissants are fluffy on the inside and just crisp on the outside! It's hard to pick anything else, although *everything* is delicious. This hidden-away gem is easy to find if you take a moment to look, and it is totally worth seeking.

It is apparent that you have not been to Rene's Bakery since they are only getting 6% of the vote. It's hidden away in Broadripple, but once you find it you will be hooked! I prefer getting there when they open on the weekends and getting hot croissants.

I found this secret bakery back in the heart of Braod Ripple! No other bakery can top the chocolate flourless cookies. I recommend everything to heart!

I special ordered a miniature version of my wedding cake for my 5th anniversary. It was amazing. The original cake was from Las Vegas and he recreated it from my verbal description. My mouth is watering right now. Awesome!
