Fashion focused since a child, Katie Jones, proprietor of Savvy Salon has been actively involved in education and moving forward the hair styling revolution! Before opening Savvy Salon in Broad Ripple, Katie worked out of a self managed studio in the North West corridor of Indianapolis, Indiana. Her excitement and knowledge of hair style and fashion has lead her around the world, with frequent trips to New York City. Visiting Manhattan once every six to eight weeks has allowed for Katie to absorb fashion at its freshest and best.
Studying under some of the greats in the field, Katie Jones has created an intense training program which preps new stylists for the full Savvy experience. Having the Savvy Loft directly above Savvy Salon creates a convenient and hands-on atmosphere for Katie to educate her staff as well has hold seminars for new products.

Savvy is the best salon I have been to in Indiana, and will not over charge you like other high end salons. I would highly recommend Savvy to anyone, and have already converted many of my friends.
wow. . . what can i say about savvy except that they are BY FAR AND AWAY the absolute best salon i have ever been to. their understanding of hair is amazing and they are great at communicating with you about you hair. katie spends so much time educating her stylists to all be on the cutting edge and you can tell! they are all really great at educating their clients, as well - as anyone who has learned the should-be-patented twirl-and-curl could atest to. i started out going to katie, but she is a busy, busy girl and can be hard to get in to see so transitioned into seeing teddi (whom i absolutely adore). she always listens to what i want and gives me great advice as to what would look great. my color is great and i get at least 2-3 compliments on my hair every week. whenever i go into savvy i make sure to take a ton of referral cards because i tell everyone i know about them - even guys! besides doing a really awesome job on girls' hair, they do an equally bang-up job on guys' hair. my fiance and all his jock-y guy friends go there without being the least bit ashamed of going to a 'salon' because they get awesome haircuts!
I have very curly hair, and a lot of stylists don't know how to cut curly hair properly. But Katie, and the rest of her crew at Savvy, know what they are doing! I get a great cut and great color every time I go. I am a customer for life!
Teddi is fantastic, my hair color is the best ever !! I get compliments all the time on my cut and color Teddi really listened to me and guided me toward the right high/low lights for my skin tones. It looks natural, but better!! I'm a client for life!!
