They definitely have wine I enjoyed, but there are much more impressive wineries that actually use grapes grown right here in Indiana. Go to Oliver or Mallow Run if you want locally grown. Both experiences I've had at Chateau Thomas' tasting counter were less than stellar. I had to flag down someone to help us both times, felt like I was being ignored, and they weren't really knowledgeable about the wine, each person just knew what they liked and couldn't offer advice on other wines. I'll only go back if it's to complete my journey on the Wine Trail.

Mallow Run is wonderful! Great wine, great atmosphere, and they are very helpful and knowledgeable. They put on great events designed to help others (Humane Society), and it's a great location for just hanging out and enjoying a bottle of wine. You can tell they love what they do there.
