Not only is the seafood the freshest we have ever eaten in Indy, the wait staff is the most knowledgeable and accommodating we have experienced. Except for a problem with early evening sunlight (which shades of some type could remedy) the view of the lake makes for a spectacular venue for dining.
This place is awseome! My wife and I frequent this restaurant weekly and have also had business functions in their private dining rooms. A very classy place that has fresh fish flown in every day and their steak will top any steak in Indy.

This place is a hidden gem! The service and food quality is above and beyond any of their competition in the city. Ruth's Chris and St. Elmo may be big names in our city but pretty soon Z's will be just just and renowned especially since it is an all around better experience. My wife and I decided late on a Saturday to try Z's. We were concerned that without a reservation it might be a problem. Not a problem. They fit us in and were we impressed. The service was excellent and the food above and beyond. We had two appetizers that were to die for. Crab cake and escargot. Hot and extremely tasty. We split a salad and our entrees were spectacular. My wife had scallops and I had the Maui Maui. We were like two kids in a candy store. A total excellent experience. Highly recommend.
